Along with the huge success of Raspberry Pi is the booming of after-market boxes/enclosures made available. There are fancy laser-cut acrylic boxes, 3D-printed boxes, boxes with breadboards, etc, which are either out of reach or just too expensive for me. However I definitely need some protectionfor the board as my table is sometimes full of screws, naked wires, hot iron, … I’m afraid one day I’ll damage my precious board. Given the production of Raspberry Pi still cannot catch up with the demand four months after announcement, it will no doubt be difficult to get a replacement.
Advertised as “credit card size computer”, I see no difficulty to fit the board into business card box. The result is somewhat true. After a bit cutting and squeezing and tada, my quick-n-not-so-dirty box is ready. Enjoy the photos 😉
